Have been using MN less and less and there have been a few threads recently where I have genuinely felt its just not for me anymore.It is a fab thing and has helped me in so many ways and I've met some lovely people so while its not a flounce it is a good bye.Will check in from time to time and read esp for people like misdee to check peter is still doing well xxx

Why do you need to actually go then? Can't you just ignore the threads that bother you? I do worry that people are using MN as a real friend, whilst its only an internet chat room. I just don't get involved with the controversial or nasty threads. Its easy enough to just find or speak to the people you know are worth speaking to. It would be a shame to loose yet another poster, because they are fed up with virtual conversations!

That said, its none of my damn business really and if you really feel you need to go, then I bid you a fond farewell and see you again soon!

well exactly, I agree, just don't go near the threads that annoy you!
i am not the type for debates and arguments and disagreements, I do have my opinions,a but just don't like to fall out with folk, so learnt very quickly on mn to back out of debate type threads, just stick to the threads with people you know and like.
There is nothing wrong with that.
