Empathy bunchamunchycrunchycarrots : I joined a thread the other day to support an OP who was at the end of her tether. I was shocked at the lack of compassion shown and outright abuse directed at her. I've often been attracted to Mumsnet academy events but now know I could never attend while wondering if my co-attendees belonged to that hostile and unsympathetic mob.
