Not attention seeking, just thought I'd clear off in the proper way,

I've had some amazing things happen since I've been here, good solid friends, life changing things , which I will always be grateful for.

I don't think I'm sensitive flower, I've always been more concerned about upsetting other people than worried for my own feelings.

Having my opinions and viewpoints pulled apart or mocked I can withstand, but to be belittled by people I feel I have chatted over sometime now actually hurts my feelings, - so, after sobbing into my cocoa for the past hour I know it's time to go.

It's surprising the things that finally make you flounce, innit?

Been here for years hully but generally lurked. I was MrsDistinctlyMintyMonetarism for a while and then moved to Oz for a couple of years where I spent the whole time being out of sync and not being able to talk to you lot.

Now I am back and I can't shut up!

Showy - you are one of the dwindling ones that I miss seeing about the ol place. I honestly only recognise about 20 people on here nowadays. 20 out of the millions! Can't afford to lose another one Fenton my duck. Have you had a cup of tea and a sit down and a breather?

You seem terribly familiar. Not in a bad way.

Right. I have read the Fenton bits on the train thread, and her deletions thread and I CAN'T SEE what she is upset about.
(Really don't want to do work)

WHAT is she upset about?

At least dear old Fenton is bringing all us comparatively sane ones together.

It's all getting a bit scary mary

What deletions thread?

Dunno, that train thread was a bit daft. The only giggle I got on there was the poster whose child decided to point and squeal 'Traaaiiinn' at every passing train, and they were at Clapham Junction or somesuch over-trained location. Smile
It's exactly what DS would have done.
But the rest? It was just the usual grumblebums who think that they can indeed have a bubble around themselves and no one should intervene. But outside, in shared space, that just doesn't work.
Fenton, are you really going to go? I've enjoyed your skeewiff sense of humour for ages, I'd miss it.
The sitestuff thread? You can't imagine you really upset Maryz can you? I've seen her cross on threads before, and her mighty yet civilised wrath is unmistakeable. She really wasn't cross.
Or have people pm'd you with nastiness? In which case, Olivia is in the wings with her stomping boots on.
So stay, please.

Don't go

It's polite to post and say why you are going though, so people know if they don't see you around that nothing horrible has happened to you.
Yes, MN is huge, but there are small pockets of friends that do look out for each other and wonder what happened when one goes silent.

I am a relative noob, but Fenton, you have made me laugh on other threads. There's been a few regulars disappear and it isn't good for Mn, it needs to be populated btw good people, like you!

I don't like people leaving. It's too sad!
