fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 30/08/2012 21:04

Awwww :(

amillionyears · 30/08/2012 21:05

I dont want you to go usual.
Perhaps you could have a break, and come back with your usual name later.
I always have 1 day off a week from MN,every week.Perhaps you could do that.
I felt hurt on your and others behalf on that thread.I think the op posted in poor taste, but she did apologise.
I think a break may be a good idea for you,but maybe not a permanent one?

ScooseLooseAbootThisHoose · 30/08/2012 21:05

EchoBitch · 30/08/2012 21:06

Sorry to see you go usual but why did you get involved with that thread if the subject upset you so much, surely better to sit on your hands and ignore it if you don't like what you see.
Fwiw,i didn't think that op was being nasty and a snob,i think she was taking a look of her own prejudices and saying how she now see's how hard it is to live on a low budget.
And that coming from relative wealth to low income is a difficult adjustment.

But that's just what i thought.

ScooseLooseAbootThisHoose · 30/08/2012 21:07

Oh yes how dare you trinity Wink

usualsuspect · 30/08/2012 21:07

Sorry about shit phone typing

AlmostAHipster · 30/08/2012 21:08

What EchoBitch said.

TheLightPassenger · 30/08/2012 21:09

I don't see what was so bad about what you posted usual, it's a puzzling place here at times!

PicklesThePottyMouthedParrot · 30/08/2012 21:09

It's not really fair to blame the op of that thread is it. She cane across ok to be even if you didn't like the original post.

Usual, reconsider. Who is going to police them baby name threads and help protect the letter k? Sad

Mintyy · 30/08/2012 21:09

I think op of that thread could have hesitated and thought a moment before posting, Echo.

She has bought into the myth that Mumsnet is all Boden-clad middle class mums on good incomes. She deserves a bit of a kick up the arse for that lazy assumption alone, imvho.

ParaOlympicpark · 30/08/2012 21:09

usual don't go. We need all opinions on here, yours are just as valid as anyone else's!!!
