I love mock running.
It is almost exclusively women. You bend your knees a bit and do a faster running/walk thing. But no arm action at all. And you have to laugh self consciously or do exaggerate your 'i am in a rush' expression so people know why you are doing it.
Otherwise you might look a tit.
Most often seen crossing the road when cars are coming.
