I don't know this poster and I know she'll hate me for not being sympathetic as no doubt she's lurking and reading all these posts, but flouncing really is pants. It's just embarrassing when you come back and say "oh all right then, I'll stay!" The only real way to flounce is to de-register quietly. Then leave it 6 months and re-register under your old name with a number at the end because you can't have the original name.
