Mardy it's not a clique as you know it, it's a moveable PARD fest. Much nicer, and infinitely more welcoming and polite.

Velvet always makes me think of a friend's crushed polyester burgundy velvet smock circa 1984. Bad. Whereas snowie makes me think of the yummy snowy road cakes in this month's Good Housekeeping: yum.

"Hiya, Thanks for the message - I had a bit of a hissy fit to be honest and in one of my darker moments I decided I wasn't going to use MN anymore. I just felt like it was taking over my evenings, just searching for threads to get my teeth into really and finding nothing, not that there was nothing interesting on MN it was more just that I didn't really have anything to say tbh, and I always find that when there is nothing left to say then no point trying to force something.
Something also happened last week (involving some MN'ers although not on MN) which has really affected me and the main reason is that I have received no proper explanation for the reason why - and I'm pissed off at myself for allowing something so trivial to bother me, so that's why I've de registered (took me a while to find out how to do it mind you :)) This is going to sound really silly, but I'm not exactly flush for friends right now and when you think you've found a nice group to get to know and then all of a sudden it's taken away it is quite upsetting..... Oh, it's all trivial bollox anyway - ignore me :)
