I joined Mumsnet last year because I was bursting to tell somebody that I was expecting a baby. I had lots of support and good wishes during my time here, but now it is time to return to RL with my baby Jasmine and DH.

I have never been much of an active poster on Mumsnet so nobody would have noticed if I just slipped quietly away. That is not my style!

Don't de-register. It's when the baby is born that you need the companionship of MN.

I have been away for a month and to be truthful have not really missed it. So weaning yourself off Mumsnet is possible !

Sometimes you are actually around for quite Extended periods.
