Does anyone else find theirselves talking to their fish as if they were an obedient puppy?

Crouched down in front of my son's fish tank this evening whilst telling his Betta that he's "a good boy", it dawned on me: I'm officially a mad fish lady.

Please reassure me that I'm not the only one?
