Thought i would have a lie in this morning and leave dh in charge of dd2 (who has ASD, needs constant watching), just come down to find my tank full of food (a whole bloody pot), i have vacumed up as much as i can which has resauled in a huge water change . What else can i do? shall i just keep doing water changes? i take it my amonia levels will hit the roof?

Yes you have to change the water as quickly as possible.
Sorry :( my son did this to my dad's tank just after he'd finished a new set up.

Oh and my son is severely autistic Grin - we should add it to the dx 'likes to empty entire tubs of food into fish tanks'

Its looking a lot better, i think i got most of it out, will do another water change tomorrow and test the water, have also had to go and buy more fish food (though i'm sure they wont need feeing for a while).
