We have new mollies, please tell me that my guppies wont eat them?

Just picked up some baby mollies from a lovely lady who i found on fb, was expecting them to be a bit bigger , they are a week old and are tiny, they have come out of her community tank and had not been eaten by her other fish, in her tank she had guppies, tetras, loaches and mummy and daddy mollies. They were born in the tank and had not been eaten (i thought they would have been eaten?). Poor lady only bought the mollies a few weeks ago and was shocked when one gave birth.

So we now have 4 tiny white mollies that my guppies are chasing around the tank. Will they get eaten? or are they too big to get eaten now? (they are about 1cm long at the most).

They are still there at the moment, they are quite fast and seem to be able to keep out of the way of guppies. I was shocked that her Mollie gave birth in her community tank and none of them were eaten, she must have had around 20+ babbies. Hopefuly they will still be there in the morning, i do have a tiny tank i can set up tomorrow but if they can stay safe in the big tank the water quality will be beter in there.

You might be alright - do you have lots of plants? More chances they have to hide the better. Good luck!

one mollie died yesterday (but i think it may have been my fault as i think i may have hurt him when i put him in the tank), another has vanished, we have 2 left (i think they will be pure white) and they seem to be happy swimming around. We now have a baby guppy too which seemed to apear today with our new female guppies but he is tiny so will probably get eaten .

Ah, the patter of tiny fins! Hope he/she makes it. I always think it is strange how fish can just completely disappear - you'd think there would be a tiny skeleton left or something. Good luck with them all!

Baby guppy has vanished , i have ordered a net thingy for next time. 2 baby mollies still alive (keeping fingers crossed that will soon be big enough not to get eaten).

Male guppy is having a great time in with the females so we should have babbies soon.

Just realised the guppies are all ready pregnant (must have been pregnant when i bought them), how do i know when they are about to drop? do they need to go into the breeding box to give birth or do i just let them give birth in the tank and hope they dont all get eaten?
