This is the USA version of Nick Hornby's Fever Pitch. Saw it on Monday at a swanky private preview (ner!). It was quite good, not a classic, but enjoyable and I laughed out loud a couple of times. Drew Barrymore looks very thin and so her chin sticks out like Witchpoo but otherwise she was good, didn't like the lead bloke much, he was OK. Would recommend seeing it if you like a lighthearted and fun film that isn't vomitous. Its a simple story so not a lot they can do with it.
