quite depressing film

shockingly dysfunctional mum

very good acting though

yes I did mostly because it has Michael Fassbender in it he is one of my favourite actors at the moment his turn as Bobby Sands in Hunger was awesome

in this he played the creep quite well
I thought overall it had great performances and excellent non patronising direction
still quite hard to watch

yes he was good

mother was disturbing to watch

but not far fetched I recall working in a family centre attached to a similar type of place and that kind of mum was not unique
very very sad and serious need of help

it was heartbreaking watching the younger sister, and the main girl you she felt the entire time something horrible is about to happen to her and in many ways it did

reminded of the Ken Loach type of movie
lots of affection for the protagonists

yes heartbreaking
the way they never said a kind word to each other
unable to -very sad when aggression becomes your default mode

I loved this film - one of those that stayed with me for a long time

Was thinking about watching this - do like Fassbender.
