The Princess and the Frog

Went to see this today courtesy of a Times free preview thingy and we all loved it. Dc, 6 & 8 really enjoyed it - the music and New Orleans setting were fantastic. Like most fairy tales, there are some vaguely scary moments - a Shadow Man and some scary shadows - but all comes good in the end.

The story was good and the princess feisty

it was rated G here (U in uk) ... so thought we'd be safe taking our DD (3) ... the shadows and shadow man were a touch scary for her, though she was ok staying for the full film, and hasn't had nightmares.....(unlike ice age 3 where we left after 20 mins and had a week of nightmares) dunno what it's been rated in UK, but would be surprised if it's a U... i'd say on our experience, probably not so good for younger ones...

Loved it loved it loved it! Have just posted on two other threads about it so had better shut up now!

I'm taking my DD to see it tomorrow. can't wait!
