Best cinema seats?

Sorry if this is the wrong topic but I couldn't find anything else related to "cinema".
I'm about to book online to go and see "A Christmas Carol" but I really want some good seats.
I haven't been to the cinema for 6 years, so I'm not too sure (sorry to sound thick).
Is it the back seats?

I would say that it depends on your cinema (not much help I know!!) We went to one on Sunday and sat at the back, the seats were on a gentle slope so the head of the person in front of me blocked some of the screen.

At my usual cinema the 1o rows at the front are on a flat floor but the rest are up stairs so each row is a step higher than the one in front, therefore doesn't matter where you sit because you can see.

Most cinemas now operate a first come first serve system so you may not have to book seat.

Do you know anybody that goes to your cinema that you can ask?

Enjoy the film.

If you're going to see a 3D one, don't sit too far away from the screen, the edges are more obvious and the 3D effect spoiled a little (ime)
