anyone? Thinking of going tomorrow and 2.5 year old very very keen but perhaps too difficult for him? 4 year old (nearly five) beside himself with excitement about it.

read a crap review that said they had butchered the story too

DD read the book a few months ago and absolutely loved it, although she loves all of Roald Dahl's stories. It was a coincidence that the movie opened on her birthday (yesterday).

I took DD (now 8), her best friend (7) and DS (4). They all really loved it and the fact that it didn't follow the exact story but was based around the original story made it more interesting.

I usually struggle with typical animated films but I also found this one enjoyable as it is slightly different to the norm and George Clooney's voice is very theraputic

The trailer looked DIRE,,,,very 1970's early animation.
