Loaned this DVD from the library and am not sure what year it is but it looked pretty new.
Anyone seen this? A film has not affected me so much in a long time. Thought it was suitable for the kids (it's a 12) but had to send them out of the room so I could carry on watching it!!
Basically it's set in WW2 and is about a boy who's father is Commander of a German prison camp and the Jew boy who he becomes friends with. This film made me soooo angry and sad and with a feeling of outrage this these things happened. It is filmed from the German boys angle and I thought it was quite unusual (and I am very picky with films).
