If you are thinking about watching this I urge you to think again. I watched it last night and haven't been so scared/ horrified / nauseous at a film ever.

Recommendations don't come much more persuasive than this - I'll add it to my Lovefilm list right now!

We watched it a few weeks ago. It was a good idea streched out waaay too long.

DrDad - check out Quarrentine, it's a US remakeof Rec which is also much better.

And Cloverfield if you haven't already seen it.

There's also Cold Prey which is interesting.

Just read the IMDB blurb, looks like a right load of slasher bizarreness!

Better than Rec? Surely not. Rec was great.

Quarentine is just a better made film. Better tension and shocks. And it took the supernatural elemment out of it which made it more scary

I'll try to see it, and decide which I prefer.

But it mught be a case of which one you saw first. But I did think it was a better crafted and executed film.

Have you seen Cloverfield?

I can't say I have. Is it worth watching?

I've Googled Rec vs Quarantine and the general opinion is that Rec is superior, but I'll watch both and draw my own conclusions.

Saw and enjoyed Cloverfield. Probably the best of the Blair Witch inspired 'shaky-cam' horrors. Have not seen any of the recent rash of Hollywood remakes. Thought the original of Shutter was good, though.

I saw Cloverfield but couldn't watch til the end as it made me feel horrendously travel sick, haven't ever had that with a film before
