Is this ok for a 7yr old or would she be bored ? dd and I have some exclusive time next week and it is showing locally.

We went today and dd enjoyed it . Definitely one for the girls. Primarily a romance which lacked much of the political resonance and may have flexed historical fact just a tad. Pretty to look at but not really insightful !

Aww LIZS, I feel for you all alone on this thread. I am interested in seeing this film but doubt I will get the chance to at the cinema. So are you saying your 7 yo dd went with you and enjoyed it? Gosh. I really can't imagine even taking my 9 yo dd to see it, but perhaps I am missing a great opportunity.

Thanks - it seems I often talk to myself on here ! The lady at the cinema (tiny one in a theatre) seemed surprised that dd was going in, amongst the oaps lol, but she did enjoy the spectacle of it all and learnt a bit too.
