Last night i watched that movie and i adored it really.
the subject and everything was so perfect.
Pauline Collins so suitable for the role and so successful and so pretty.
it is one of my favorites now.

Haven't seen it for years but I agree that it is brilliant.

I love Willy Russell's plays - Educating Rita and Our Day Out have also been adapted to film, but my fave of all is Blood Brothers.

Love it too. Dp and I were at a NT house the other day and her and John Alderton had just been through but we missed them

Tom Conti was very funny, too
