Seven Pounds - anyone seen it?

2 people today told me how good it is, they both said best film they've ever seen. One of them said ehr friend went home and cried non-stop for 2 hours as she was so moved by it. Even the bloke said he was fighting back the tears.

It gets really bad reviews though.

it was very slow for first 45 mins or slow, but actually quite an original idea...v. thought-provoking and the kind of film you enjoy more afterwards IYKWIM.It's prbably quite bad from a film-maker's viewpoint though, definitely not perfect!

i didn't like it at all

my DH loved it

it feels fairly manipulative and there is one bit which is meant to be really profound and moving but just made be want to giggle

I went with a friend and we both really enjoyed it.

I couldn't stop thinking about it for a couple of days afterwards.
