Nope and won't be watching it as I can't stand Kate Winslett!

I saw it - really liked it. DH hated it. It is obviously dividing people. Actually, I didn't LOVE it, but I found it fascinating and heartbreaking. My advice is not to get bogged down in Winslet's character and the rights and wrongs of how they've handled that - instead, I found the story of her lover, Michael, was the emotional core of the film and was profoundly moving. IT really made me question how I would react in the same situation...

Winslet is going to be going home from all the awards ceremonies with arms laden this year. There have been lots of good performances, but I don't think there have been any really GREAT films that are up for contention...

I loved it too and found it hard to hold back the tears.

i saw it not sure what i thought of it think i struggled to get past the idea of a grown women and a school boy .......for some reason some of the scenes just did not it right in my head

apart from the scences i did enjoy it and it does have quite strong powerful messages behind it
