PAN'S LABYRINTH

This has to be the MOST bizarre film I've seen in a long time, interesting but bemusing at the same time, what did everyone else think?

It was scary. I'm glad I didn't record it for ds.

Is one of my fav films ever. Dh bought it for me for xmas last year.

My husband got very excited that it was on - I thought it looked boring and took my uncultured self off to the conservatory to listen to my ipod. But he loved it.

I was watching it and thought it was good but it started to get very dark and I couldn't watch it any more- The stepdad was horrible and I found the bit where he killed the farmers son very disturbing and it just seemed to be heading for worse. Did it get worse or was I just being a baby?

has anyone see the orphanage, sort of similar

I was quite disappointed by the orphanage. I did enjoy it, but I think I was maybe expecting too much from it. I thought the ending was a little twee.

Really enjoyed it but it was disturbing. I agree that when he killed the farmers son and mashed in his face - I felt shocked and quite sick.

The baby eater (was that what it was ?) who put his eyes in the palms of his hands freaked me out !
