Don’t look back in anger (Oasis)

Went to see this yesterday. I’m not the biggest Oasis fan but I really enjoyed it, so good to see people out really enjoying themselves at the concerts - they really mean the world to a lot of people. I felt a bit emotional at the end! Anyone seen it/ going to?

I saw it this evening and thought it was brilliant! I went to see them last year with DS and it was one of the most special and emotional gigs I’ve ever been to. The film encapsulated perfectly how so many fans felt about the reunion gigs. And Liam was hilarious!

Yeah he really was very funny. Will you try and get tickets for next year @jellybobs? I don’t know whether it would be as special again

Yes I will as I’ve got a younger teen who’s become a big fan in the last year and really wants to see them, plus older teen wants to go again. But, I’m not willing to get a second mortgage so I’m not sure if we will end up going (assuming I even get the option in the ticket buying madness)!

Loved it. Was a very spiritual experience for me watching it as it reminded me of how hopeful we were in the 90s as young people with all the possibilities ahead of us. They mean a lot to so many people and are a fantastic band. Can’t wait for the upcoming gigs

I thought it was excellent, perfectly captured the sentiment. I was at the first of the Wembley gigs last year, having seen Oasis many times in the 90s/2000s at varying levels of disdain for each other - Wembley 2000 was absolutely awful-
these shows were something else though. The wall of sound was immense, their sound was perfect. Liam sounded fantastic and Noel brought everything too.

Hoping to get tickets next year, Knebworth is NOT on my list. I was at the Sunday gig in ‘96 - I mean it was great in a history making kind of way but not something I’d wish to repeat. Give me a stadium with plenty of toilets/bars and exits!
