Wish I had seen it at the cinema!

Have you been on Mars? 😆 He was absolutely slated, and even had the likes of Jamie Foxx wading in asserting that John Davidson meant what he said, ignoring the fact that he has uncontrollable verbal tics. It's all there if you look for it.

I've had hospital appts every day for the last 6 weeks, I've barely watched the news so I'm really out of the loop.

Is there much about cancer in it or just a little? My DM recently diagnosed so don’t want to watch with DD if it will be upsetting. Thanks.

No you'll be fine x

Brilliant film, loved it! As others have said Maxine Peakes Scottish accent came and went but I thought Robert Aramayo’s was spot on. Edited to say John Davidson is a hero.

It was just great. And to repeat what everyone else had said ‘see if those at the BAFTA’s had only just watched the film…’

We've just watched it tonight. There is a character who was diagnosed with liver cancer and told she only had a few months to live, and a few of John's verbal tics are related to this. It then turns out that it wasn't cancer but a benign growth instead.
