Been this weekend to see it, I enjoyed it. Everyone else I know is seeing Wuthering Heights?

I enjoyed it too, very entertaining. Ruffalo is good in everything.

SecretLocker · 17/02/2026 09:41

I thought it was rubbish. I couldn't get past the sexism.

Hatey · 17/02/2026 14:59

I thought the sexism was shown really well. Especially Halle Berry character. I thought both Chris and Ruffalo characters were sort of socially awkward and loners.
Did enjoy a certain actor being both awful in real life and his character.

Really liked this. Not the most original but good story and characters.

The type of film that’s often just sent straight to streaming now so glad to see it in the cinema.

Hatey · 18/02/2026 20:50

You’re probably right, my cinema enjoyment level is low. Love a straight to video type of film. So looking forward to Shelter. I just really enjoy a no brain power film with nachos and a Coke Zero.
And it was just fun.

I enjoyed it.

NotSorry · 21/02/2026 20:00

I enjoyed it overall, but I didn't find the lead character very likeable. I did like Halle Berry's and Mark Ruffalo's characters though

Never seen Mickey 17 then 😂 😂 😂

Hatey · 21/02/2026 20:32

God Mickey 17! He played against type didn’t he. But that was a weird film, I enjoyed it, but had no bloody idea what the hell was going on.

I thought it was about a 6/10 film, I think it would have made a good three part TV series.

BlueEyedBogWitch · 21/02/2026 21:13

I’m enjoying Mark Ruffalo in Task at the moment.

rookiemere · 23/02/2026 08:55

Enjoyed it but it needed to be 30 minutes shorter - it was a weird film to have available in 4dx and I felt like the car chase scenes belonged in a different movie. Halle Berry was the youngest looking 53 year old I have ever seen.

LittleJustice · 25/02/2026 23:44

I've just been to see it this evening and really enjoyed it although I agree with the car chase scene analysis.

LittleJustice · 25/02/2026 23:45

And apparently Halle Berry is 59. She looks fabulous 👌

colouringindoors · 06/03/2026 00:17

Enjoyed it more than I expected! Liked the cinematography of LA combining it's slick side and grimy underbelly. Happy to watch Mr Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo is always good value 👍

Sausagenbacon · 06/03/2026 19:32

Mark Ruffalo is fantastic in Poor Things

ForAmusedHazelQuoter · 06/03/2026 19:34

He was also great in an older movie called The Last Castle.

colouringindoors · 07/03/2026 19:48

Have you seen him jn Dark Waters? Really good.
