I'm just back from seeing this film. It's very good indeed. Funny, though not in a belly laugh manner), clever, thought-provoking and very touching. Very good acting, and so good not have a bunch of ultra-famous actors taking attention away from the drama - looking at you, "The Thursday Murder Club").Very good music - well worth sitting through the closing credits for more of it.

I might nip back on the next Tightarse Tuesday and see it again.

I went to see it yesterday, i thought it was lovely.
The acting was great, the only thing that bothered me was that Larry was 35 (he’s a couple years older in real life but it’s believable) and Joan and Luke are supposed to be the age they were at the time they were together (presumably mid to late twenties) but they are both also clearly in their mid thirties. It just looked a bit odd.
it was easy watching and predictable, I guessed the end pretty early in but still enjoyed watching it play out.

I cried when Larry told Joan to pick Luke

For me this was the "message", saying if you love someone, let them go.

I thought, and hoped, the ending would be them leaping into The Void, like Lord Asriel and Mrs Coulter in "His Dark Materials".
