I loved the first and haven't seen the one after. Was excited for this one.
Whilst it was nice to revisit, the film generally was a flatter than the last drummer should have been.
Elton was fantastic I thought. Shows what a great performer he is.
The best but was finding out screen because the people milling outside were very much of a type.🙂

Am also excited about this sequel, I loved the first. Have not seen this one yet, but have read several reviews that share your opinion. As much as we love the original, for many people it was a grower, over the years it's legendary status swelled. I hope this will happen again, in any case as one reviewer (Peter Bradshaw) said "It's nice to be their company again". I searched mumsnet to see if anyone had mentioned ST2! So thank you Selflessness 🙏

I went last night. Absolutely loved it. Not as great as the first which is one of my favourite films of all time but it was great to revisit. I wouldn't add any spoilers but i love the cheese and guitar shop which is suposed to be in Berwick-upon-Tweed (not filmed there). Solid 4/5

I loved it. Made me laugh all tge way through. Daft and silly.

Just got back from seeing this, loved it. So glad it was good and didn't ruin the legacy of the original.
