Can't seem to see a thread, so I thought I'd start one.

I thought this film was near perfect, very rewatchable and the soundtrack has been stuck in my head. Any one else a fan?

my nieces who live with me are and hence I do now have the very catchy (if a tad dramatic) soundtrack stuck in my head. I havent watched the film yet.

My dd10 is a huge fan.

DD15 loves it (she is a KPop fan).

I love that the girl group song and the boy group song have outsold any actual GG or BG Kpop song on Spotify!

The film title does not do it justice! I put it Off for about a week as I didn't like the title (and I actually liked kpop in the past!) but eventually gave in when most of my TikTok was song snippets and I'm so glad I did! The animation style, quality of songs, story were all just brilliant. Totally recommend it!

Is it originally in English or Korean? I had a glance at the cast list and saw Lee Byung Hun in a minor role which doesn't tell me much as he is pretty fluent in English, too.

If it is K language or there is a good Korean dub, I'd be interested.

DD15 loved it and wanted to show it to me. I quite enjoyed it despite not expecting to and I genuinely loved the songs!

It was SO good, Watched it with DD12 and she loved it too. The animation style was great, really fun.

I love dramatic music, but I didn't know anything about Kpop. I love the animation and the characters. I thought the female characters were really strong, and completely non sexualised

Ooh glad to hear it’s getting good reviews here as I let my 9 year old watch it last week and similar to other posters she’s obsessed with the music and can’t stop singing it (which her 6 year old brother loves to join in!)…

It has some great themes. Demons getting in your head, be yourself and stop trying to be perfect, patterns of behaviour, the dangers of obsession, the joy of fandom and music. And that adorable derpy tiger

oooh i was forced to watch this by 8 and 10y old family members and it was much less awful than i was expecting. I liked how the girls liked junk food etc. The songs are insanley catchy (when youre forced to listen to the soundtrack on every car journey).

We watched it and LOVED it. Just loses half a star for the pat ending. Songs, acting, animation, infusion of love for Kculture- A++++.

It's on at cinemas this weekend for a sing-a-long event if anything is looking for something to do with the kids (or without them, no judgment).

Just finished with my 12yo - we loved it. I thought it was absolutely great - like what Jem and the Holograms should’ve been 🤣

The year is 2025 and I have pre ordered the CD soundtrack 😁

Another one who initially avoided it due to the crap title but my 8 year old made me watch it and it might just be my top film of the year!

I've watched it several times. I don't have young children but I do listen to kpop a lot and almost exclusively watch kdrama so it was pretty perfect to me

very much on my watch list! Been recommended by a few people.
