Anyone seen? I watched it on Friday and don’t quite know what to make of it.

(Regarding spoilers - it’s a film, so I don’t suppose anyone will come to the thread without having seen it already.)

I haven’t seen it, but saw a trailer for it recently and was intrigued.

I’ve just been to see it today and I also didn’t know quite what to make of it. I thought that the three main female performances were very strong.

I had seen a trailer previously that intrigued me but an important (spoiler) scene was shown in the trailer so I was waiting for it all through the film

I did read the book a few years ago and found that confusing but I might need to reread it after watching the film

I know Deborah Levy is greatly revered. I’m not sure the film has brought me any closer to reading any of her books.

The director is someone I admire very much - and I think without the ending to this film I’d feel more positive about it. All the Margaret Mead stuff was fascinating.

I saw this the other day.
Unsure about the ending? I assume she didn't die and got up?
It was okay. Not the best.

As a former barrister I feel it would be much more interesting if she stayed in the chair. (Spoilers …) Just think of the case for the defence …

Good book. I wanted to see the film but missed it when it was in cinemas.
