New Superman Movie

Is anyone else excited for this? I’ve seen the trailers and it looks great. I really couldn’t get into the Henry Cavill films (too dark and loud) but this new version seems to have a lot more substance and a nod to the comic books.

Not a big fan of the original Superman stuff but have agreed to take my sons next Saturday so will see if I enjoy it as much as the Marvel stuff. Am really looking forward to the new Fantastic Four later this month.

The trailer looks quite good. Nic Hoult is brilliant in most things he does.
I haven't wanted to see a hero film for ages, but this seems decent entertainment.

Am I the first to watch?? No spoilers but I absolutely loved this!! So so funny 😁 . If you enjoyed Guardians of the Galaxy, you will love this. Krypto was the star of the show though!! Can't wait to watch it again. Think this is my favourite super hero film yet ❤️

The Boys is a series on Amazon about superhumans.

I don’t know why so many of the reviews were so negative, we went with all the kids and everyone loved it. Good fight scenes, plenty of moments where the whole cinema laughed out loud (particularly at the useless dog) and a reasonable plot. It’s no Guardians 1 but it’s certainly more enjoyable than a lot of recent superhero films.

I agree, you could everyone laughing inside the cinema, especially at Krypto and the Justice Gang gags.

Biggest laugh in our cinema was - “Four is a name” - “Yes, and so is Gary.”

I must have seen a different film to you guys…

There was no real Clark element which I found disappointing.

I really enjoyed it. Liked the positive life-affirming hero stuff.

Also he is very handsome.

I'm too old. Christopher Reeve is all the Superman I will ever need.

Saw it and thoroughly enjoyed it - but boy is it ever unsubtly political! I can see why the MAGAts hate it.
