Just wanted to say that I went to see this yesterday with my teenaged child, who is studying Geography and Biology and it was devastating. Almost cried at parts.

If you have a chance, do go - I think it's a really important film/documentary.

I'm an emotional person, so was sobbing in the middle section, and had to stick my fingers in my ears at one point.

If it helps show more people the state of most of the oceans, and highlights bottom trawling, that's a good thing.

Even better if it had any influence on the UN Oceans Summit hosted by France in June. Our government still hasn't ratified the Oceans Treaty, and seems to be in no hurry to do so.

It was so powerful. Disappointing that, as yet, it doesn't seem to have created the sort of impact that his stuff on plastic did in the UK previously. A lot of people really started to think about plastic for the first time. So far, I've not noticed anyone waking up to the fishing issue who isn't already pretty green. Fingers crossed the momentum will start to gather.
