Any other MCU fans out there watched this yet? I am taking my 11 YO tonight and we are both really looking forward to it. Absolutely love Florence Ough as Yelena and David Harbour. Plus more Bucky!

DH and I saw it yesterday and we really enjoyed it, very funny. Much better than the latest Captain America movie which I thought was a bit flat.

Yes completely agree! Captain America was fine but I instantly forgot it. Absolutely LOVED Thunderbolts. I laughed so much, cheered when a certain person showed up on a motorbike and found it quite emotional. My fave for a while

What age would you say its suitable for op? I see it's a 12a but thinking it wouldn't be too suitable for a 9yo?

We're watching it tomorrow. Can't wait. I did enjoy Captain America but really looking forward to this one.

If they have been fine with other MCU films I think 9 would be fine. Lots and lots of violence and fighting but in the usual Marvel way. Does deal with some quite serious ideas but actually led to some good conversations with my 11YO. I think its depends how sensitive they are and how well they have dealt with other similar Marvel movies. I showed Black Widow to my almost 9YO the other day and she found the knife fights too scary so decided not to come to the cinema for this one

Honestly the more I think about it the more I love it. Want to go again!

Been to see it tonight. I probably wouldn't take a nine year old as there are a few scenes that wouldn't be great for that age group.

Really enjoyed the film though and looking forward to the next lot of Marvel films! This was the best I've seen since End Game and No Way Home.

This is the best Marvel film in a long time. It had a story that actually was well thought out and had heart.

Couldn’t agree more!

I'm looking forward to watching it again once it's on Disney+ and Fantastic Four!

Agreed.

Just watched this - and was glad to be seeing it on a relatively big screen. It was … dark! 😄 And intriguing.

I cancelled my Disney Plus subscription last year, but it’s good to know the MCU isn’t completely over yet.

mum2jakie · 16/08/2025 00:09

Available on DisneyPlus from 27th August!
