I don't know - there are often a lot of gory/scary bits - lots of snakes, rats, skulls. I wasn't at all sure that DD (8) would be up to watching the first ones, though I think she'd enjoy the stories. But your DC might be made of sterner stuff.

southeastastra · 11/05/2008 21:25

he's seen all of them so far, lots of times, he has them on video and is obsessed.

i just hope the classification doesn't exclude him

my dd would love it and be scared in a I am not really that scared but bloody enjoy screaming kind of way.

She is six but made of stern stuff.

twinsetandpearls · 11/05/2008 21:25

I don;t even know what the classification is, we are recording the one that is on bbc tonight for dd

Unfitmother · 11/05/2008 21:26

The new one is a 12.

JackieNo · 11/05/2008 21:26

Well if he's seen the rest, no problem, I'd guess. Though I don't know what the classification's going to be.

southeastastra · 11/05/2008 21:28

oh bum so he can't see it? we are looking forward to it

JackieNo · 11/05/2008 21:29

According to this it's a 12A, so he'd be OK.

southeastastra · 11/05/2008 21:30

OOH bother, no, that's the trailers - the film is 12A, which I think means he can go with you.

JackieNo · 11/05/2008 21:34

Guide to what the various classifications mean

southeastastra · 11/05/2008 21:37

JackieNo · 11/05/2008 21:38

Me too.

KayHarker · 12/05/2008 21:06

I'm not actually sure I want to see it. I want Indy forever young and virile in my head. I have a great fear that this will turn out to be a bit Whatever-happened-to-Baby-Jane-ish...
