New ish film with the amazing Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton. A topic very close to my heart, I was expecting a last minute twist but no.

I love the Sigrid Nunez novel it’s based on, but would have said it was rather difficult to adapt for film, as it’s pretty much an interior monologue skipping around in time. Annoyingly, I missed it in my local cinema… Was it good? I love JM and TS.

It had the feeling of a play if that makes sense? JM seemed to be playing her part seriously but TS was annoying

I love Tilda S. Damn. Now I really want to see it!

It was a good film! Touching and like I said, a subject uncomfortably close for me.

I was expecting to feel different at the end though, sadder

I made an effort to go see this film in terms of price and distance and I found it dull and boring and such a dissapointment. I’m glad to see some people enjoyed it.
