Has anyone seen Anora?

I could potentially go and see it tomorrow night at a special film club showing. It'd be a bit of a rush after work so I'm try to decide if it's worth the hassle.
Recently I quite liked Emilia Perez and enjoyed Conclave and A Real Pain.

It was well worth the rush. Absolutely brilliant film.

Seen it. Liked it, but it was very male gaze.

I'm an hour in and contemplating switching it off. It's just constant screaming and shouting, effing and jeffing for the past 15 minutes. My ears are bleeding.

I don't think I'm getting it but then I never appear to get Oscar nominated films!

I loved it and actually thought it was very nuanced.

I also loved it. I love all of Sean Baker's films.

Yes, I do enjoy his films, and did enjoy this, but I really couldn’t shake the male gaze perspective. So many sex shots which seemed gratuitous in comparison to say, The Substance, which was very female gaze and in your face to make a point.

I absolutely loved it! She truly deserves that Oscar though its probably going to Demi.
