Looking for something like Oscar-winning short films?

I'll admit, I knew almost nothing about short films before. But after watching Cufew, I got hooked on the Oscar-winning shorts series. I even checked out their animated shorts.

So now I'm wondering, besides following the Oscars, are there other ways to discover high-quality short films?

I'm really into those with tightly packed storylines, twists, and unique perspectives that deliver a visual and mental punch!

The Channel 4 TV app (it used to be 4 on Demand then All 4 - I think they changed it again) has a good selection of short films, although not necessarily Oscar winners? If you go to the Films page and scroll down toward the bottom they used to be around there Smile

I think my favourite short of all time is Pickle, which is both lovely and also made me laugh until I struggled for breath Grin

I loved 'An Irish Goodbye'. It was available on BBC iPlayer this year. It did win the Oscar.

I was reminded of a disturbing but brilliant stop motion short I saw over a decade ago. It was made by Ülo Pikkov from Estonia. There is no dialogue.
