Has anyone seen it?
I am a huge Alien fan, and have been seeing a few mixed reviews in fan groups.
I have not seen it yet, so no spoilers!

I'm hopefully seeing this tomorrow.

I'm currently watching Alien Covenant on Film 4 and the trailer for the new film is being advertised in what feels like every ad break!

I cannot bloody wait.

Aliens is my favourite movie of all time.

Got really high hopes about this, will be watching at the pics in 4dx

I love - LOVE - the first two but not seen one since Alien 3. Is it safe to go back?

I saw it yesterday. I didn't think it was that good. IMDb gave it a much higher score than I would have.

I saw it on Friday, my DH who is a massive Alien fan was very disappointed didn't enjoy it, I thought it was ok but not great

We did watch it in 4DX that was fun!

I saw it in IMAX, thought it was good! It was everything Resurrection tried to be, but done better (IMO).

I saw it the other day. I loved the way it looked, set design, lighting, looked much more like the original movies. Storyline was fine, not ground breaking but it worked. The script was crap imo. References and cameos shoehorned in. Quite a few mistakes that took my attention away from the movie.

I'm really surprised at the great press/reviews it's getting. As I say it looks great but it wasn't enjoyable as I was rolling my eyes at the characters and dialogue.

I saw it yesterday. It's a mix of Alien and ALien Resurrection in my opinion.

It's a solid film but not great. There's not a lot of new stuff and no 'wow' factor but i do like the world that's been created and how old and grimey everything looks.

I found the dopey Andy character massively irritating and thought Caley Spenny (?) was too feeble and girly for the lead.

Its a proper blood and gore creature feature though if you like that sort of thing but I much prefer Prometheus and Covenant.

I agree with the previous poster that the script was poor but the most disappointing thing for me was the score. I normally love Alien film soundtracks but this one was just so average and disappointing.

I think those who love Alien will enjoy it but if you prefer something a bit more (hesitate to use the word) cerebral, then you may be disappointed.

I loved it! Thought the lead girl was a bit meh but loved the rest of the cast, the monsters, the ending.

It was a great monster in space film, it didn't really try to be anything else.

It was good I enjoyed it. The cast all seemed like teenagers so I think they have tried to appeal to a younger audience now.
