Had anyone watched this unexpected gem of a movie on BBC? I randomly chose to watch this having been a fan of James Norton from his Happy Valley days. He plays a terminally ill father looking for a family to adopt his adorable 4 year old.

Yes it’s a lovely film and the gorgeous James Norton is excellent in it and nails the Belfast accent pretty well too! (I’m a native) If you like this you should also watch Ordinary Love with Liam Neeson.

I watched it this morning after it was recommended to me. So understated and heartbreaking too. I wept buckets, but don't let that put you off. Watch it before it goes from BBC iPlayer.

Really really loved it, even though it made me sob. Thought it was excellent.

It's been discussed before, I think on here. I saw it at the cinema. Yes, lovely little gem of a film. You are right. I think it was on TV late and I didn't see it there. I have said it before and I'll say it again - I did not detect his accent falter once.
