i loved this film.

It had all the bits that i forever seek. I adore the actress too. the high adrenaline was the sealing of the deal. What a great film!

I'm in the minority in really disliking it. To me, it was another much-praised movie which really disappointed me.

It's not a bad premise - that a young woman trying to latch on to some income gets sidelined into crime. But it's very lackluster. There's not a real build-up, the script isn't good at pinning down characters, and it's visually unattractive. And I don't think Aubrey Plaza is particularly attractive either, and pretty much devoid of personality. It can sometimes be fun to watch an underdog fight back, but with her, it's just free-floating uncontrolled hostility. It's possible to make a great movie with unappealing characters, but it's tough, and this ain't it.
