Saw a screening of this. Really enjoyed it until the end where it felt like they'd filmed another ending and then quickly reshot the new one. It didn't seem like it fit. But I've heard it's based off a book so presume the ending is right.

Still a very good watch.

Yep the book has the same title. Not seen it yet, looking forward to it.

Oooh just seen this. At what point did you feel it went weird in terms of an ending? I was a bit meh about it

Is it creepy? I'd like a trip to the cinema but I'm a total wuss at scary films.

Once the thing happened with Anne hathaway's husband I thought it would go a different ending.
I did enjoy it but it could have been a lot better.

I'm the same but this will be fine for you. It's not scary. It's a psychological thriller with some tense scenes but not scary.

Oh I found it really creepy. Along the lines of woman in black for waiting for something to appear/happen

Definitely not "scary" like a horror, and not even jump scare so it's fine. More physiological.

I enjoyed it. Op is the ending off because it's just not what you'd want / expect?

I think the ending was different to what I thought it was going to be and quite an abrupt end. I would have liked a different ending but that's probably because I like happy endings.

I told DH the plot line and he couldn't understand why is watch something so miserable. I said but it wasn't!!

I think I loved the clothing and aesthetic the most.
But yes SHE was happy just everyone else 😬
