What films or tv programmes do you plan watch? Need some inspo!

Can't bear the Hootenanny. It's Jools Holland in a very open studio where he walks around and bellows at everyone. Hate it.

Watching About Time then will turn BBC on for the countdown

We are staying in and will not be watching Jools. To me it's the New Year equivalent of Strictly or X Factor. Shite. We're currently in the middle of Slow Horses and it's excellent! So we'll be watching that, and possibly turning to BBC at 1 minute to for the countdown and fireworks.

We are having a late dinner and then taking a walk down memory lane with a game of Sorry! The Disney edition to be exact. Then 15 mins for a wee and prep for midnight getting the toast ready etc.

I was meant to be going out but I'm in bed feeling like totally rubbish (hoping I don't have covid!)

Not watching anything, going to bed early with a delicious hot chocolate and a good book.

I'll probably be in bed, I'm reading one of the books I got as my Christmas present to me so I'll read until I fall asleep, which may be well before midnight.

Ooh. Hot chocolate is a great shout to go with my early to bed with a book plan.

Same as we do every night, Pinky.

We will have a seafood dinner around 2100 (just preparing the mignonette for the oysters), and chat and listen to music, may even play music. Will then welcome the new year in watch the fireworks outside and go to bed. We watch enough tv during the week so like to something a bit different.

Will be having party style bits from the freezer and watching Rick Astley and the fireworks 🎆

Chicken Run 2 has great reviews, I'm going to give it a try.

Jungle Book was on this afternoon - that's a nice film if you missed it.

Me and the kids are watching labyrinth, then phantom of the opera, then drop dead Fred, then stick something on for the bells and head to bed I reckon.

Another vote for slow horses, it's fantastic.
We're also enjoying Reacher for something easy to watch.
I also can't bear to watch Jools Holland.

X-files earlier, now on Shaun of the Dead because nothing says welcoming a new year like a plague of zombies. With the way recent years have been - it'll be an improvement.
