Anyone seen it yet? Took my 15 year old D's and we both found it hilarious.and an easy watch. Even more.funny if you own a dog 😂

I walked out after ten minutes - did absolutely nothing for me at all

Needmorelego · 01/09/2023 21:27

@TheBewilderedGoblin how can you judge a film from ten minutes? Surely you knew what the plot is?
I want to see it but was out voted at the cinema and saw Barbie (second time!).

Iamanisland · 01/09/2023 21:31

Absolutely loved it, a fun ninety minutes, crude, stupid and hilarious.

Meltinthemiddle · 01/09/2023 22:13

I really.dont think you can judge a film after 10 mins. Did you not see the trailers and have some idea of what it was about?

Bits of it were incredibly funny, other bits were a bit too cringy - but that was part of the appeal. My 15 year old wanted to see it and within 10 minutes he mumbled "I've probably made a mistake seeing this with my mum... Grin

I did think the absolute best bits ("human hands!") were in the trailer.

I’d seen a short clip of a trailer; the reality was potty mouthed from the start, and that’s not for me.

And that’s the joy of a Cineworld card, I didn’t waste money on a ticket, so didn’t want to waste my time either.

rookiemere · 02/09/2023 08:17

I went with some friends- we have cineworld cards so we see everything.

First half hour was mildly amusing but it only seemed to have two themes to bang on about and there's only limited humour to be had from dog poo and dog penises.

I thought the ending was horrific and wondered who on earth would enjoy such a movie - now I know Grin.

The rabbit bit was amusing though.

We thought it was hilarious as did others in the cinema. People were laughing the whole way through. Jamie Foxx was so funny. ‘Human style’
Dd though was a bit traumatised at the bunny scene !

We watched on Prime at Christmas and absolutely loved it , so funny all the way though
