Watched this last night - I remember being enthralled by it in 1985! Really lame but oh my, Madonna was just perfect back then ❤️

She had sass, moved like a dancer, a tiny, interesting looking lady, filled the screen, so long ago …

Innit, she was so sassy back then. I remember copying her hair and clothes and dancing. She had that swagger and attitude and cold beauty 😍

One of my favourite films, she’s basically playing herself but is extremely cool. I still want those boots!

She's amazing in it, her best film by such a long way.

I saw it a couple of years ago, having not watched it since I was a teenager, and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It's still pretty good.

I actually watched the whole film teary eyed, took me right back to the 80s and how innocent (but slutty) we were back then 🤣

I loved that! I wanted the skull hat box luggage stuffed with random cool things 😆

I rewatched this last year and also still loved it. 😀 I think I must have been early teens when I first saw it in the early 90's and just always remembered the part when she drys her armpits with the hand dryer in the public bathroom. It was nice to watch it as an adult and remember the rest.
I also rewatched "Who's that Girl.?" I didn't feel like that had dated nearly as well but still enjoyed it for what it was. The cartoon Madonna taking off her heels running down the street and the big cat was what I remembered clearly from it as a child. She really did just have so much charisma back then. I used to think she was so cool at the time.
Just great films for nostalgia. 😍
