Has anyone seen it? What did you think?

I was just going to ask the same thing. Really enjoyed the 1st one, I found it a really good fun, entertaining movie. Interested to hear opinions on Meg2

Loved the 1st one. Saw the 2nd one yesterday. However bad you think it’s going to be, it’s worse.

I wouldn’t recommend it at all, but apparently others have enjoyed it so you might do too.

For me it jumped the shark way too many times. The ‘special’ diving suits, apparently the pressure won’t be a problem if you just expel the air from your sinus’s, creatures that live 25,000 feet underwater can also survive on land and many many many more ridiculous things.

Sounds like it's one to wait & watch at home. Best enjoyed after a few drinks kinda movie.

I think alcohol would vastly improve it 🤣

I expected more shark! The first half seemed to drag with the whole underwater scenes and drama.. definitely better when the megs appeared more..was silly but expected silly but maybe a bit more?

To little shark action and not silly enough. Fun, but nowhere near the entertainment value of Meg1.

Saw this yesterday and although it’s fun it’s not a patch on the first one. There aren’t enough scares and yes more Meg action would have vastly improved it.

I saw it in 4dx and that was the only thing that saved it, and it was still pretty dire. Worrying about whether I was going to get thrown out of my seat or not kept me occupied, not sure I'd have made it to the end otherwise

I've been invited to watch this at the weekend. Do I need to watch the first one?

No but there are quite a few jokes and nods to the first film.

Jason Statham was in it. Why wouldn't you go? Some funny bits and some ott. Surely that's what film is? Had a great night! Ds 8 loved it.

Meg 1 was definitely better.

I'm off to see this under duress on Thursday , it was this or grand Turino so not sure what's worse

Gran turismo was alright

Saw it yesterday after loving the first. It just didn't have the same feel. The sharks took a back seat to do some insane aquatics stuff and the plot of the villains.

The squid, literally nobody mentioned the giant squid even when attacking it. And the dinosaur like creatures eurgh. I wish they kept just the squid as the addition. Second half is better than the first.
