This had me crying I’m not to proud to admit. The short before the film was good too!

I was surprised to see it rated as 12A when I was looking up the cinema listings earlier, assumed it would be a PG.

Love the Pixar shorts.

Not sure if I liked it or not it looked stunning but I've never really resonated with the 2nd generation immigrant themes in film, but I think it was done in a way that was very kid friendly and a way for them to understand without them potentially realising they are.

I liked how they fleshed out each element not just fire and water.

I thought it was really sweet and didn't deserve the hate it got. I sobbed during the scenes in the shop near the end (you know the ones!). DD9 did too, and even DS5 leaned over and whispered that he thought it was "so sad"! DH has a heart of stone because he didn't shed a single tear Grin

Saw it today. It was a PG. I didn't like it but the DC did.

That must be an error on the listings - it’s definitely a PG.

Have not seen it, but cant understand why film makers always have to repeatedly drum in old scientific and historical misconceptions.

I am going to spend the rest of my career trying to explain that water is not an element.....

Have not seen it, but cant understand why chemists always have to repeatedly drum in particular modern uses of ancient words.

I am going to spend the rest of my career trying to explain that "elemental forces" don't involve the Periodic Table.

Went to see this today... found it very disappointing. The trailers looked promising but clearly they took the only decent bits from the film for the trailer.

I'd give it a 4/10 at best and recommend saving the price of the cinema tickets and wait until it's on Disney+!

5yo and 8yo found it quite meh, 5yo asked to leave and she normally loves films at cinema... but given the price of cinema these days we stuck it out - just thought I'd share our experience.

I saw this today, I quite liked it but thought the story line was a bit "old" for my 5 year old.

My 4 year old says he loved it but I'm not sure the whole forbidden-love thing registered. I enjoyed it but agree it was oddly pitched. It's more the sort of storyline you expect from a Young Adult novel turned into a film and shoved on Netflix.

Saw this with my 3 dc who range from 9 to 16 and we were all very bored, I wanted to leave within 20 minutes of the film starting as did my 9 year old. We stuck it out because of the cost of tickets, but I highly recommend people don't pay to watch this movie.
