I'm watching this right now - is it just me or are all the parents in the film serious shit? No decent communication and very little patience, if any? The 3 year old hits Mia twice, he doesnt get told off or it explained about not hitting, they just go upstairs and eat cake. Her daughter snatches a photo, so instead of explaining it belongs to grandad she just shouts at her to go back to bed. When in the car and wanting to talk, she unlocks the door and then is surprised she gets out of the car....
They're also shit at looking after a rabbit

I'm not sure if the mother ever liked Mia, she just shouted non stop at her!

I've just reached the bit where she leaves Mia alone while she visits her mum. Mia appears to be about 5/6? Ffs

I think she shouted at her because she was freaked out that she was channelling the dead sister!!!

In the beginning she was lovely to her.

That was quite bizarre!

It’s about the mother having a psychotic breakdown. Had to watch it twice but it’s actually really good!

Gave it about 30 mins and switched off. Most scenes were visually too dark on my tv and it was a strain on my eyes. Did anyone else think this

Once it got to the wardrobe in the shed I understood this! I'm still not sure I liked it though
And the 2 other parental adults were still a bit shit

It was a little dark, but we've come to expect that from a lot of films and tv programmes now so we tend to tip the blinds automatically when we watch something!

The other parents were definitely shit! Poor little girl.

Yeah I kept saying that - all the parents were terrible. And the scenes in the nursing homes!

Thank you, I thought it was just me! I tried watching it on my tablet in bed and rewound it several times - terrible film!
