Have t really seen any Wes Anderson films so didn’t know what to expect but thoroughly enjoyed this.

Just got back from seeing this and really enjoyed it too. The Grand Budapest Hotel is still my favourite of his films, but this may well be No. 2 for me. It’s probably the most Wes Andersony of his films, I would say, in terms of style and aesthetics.

Loved Grand Budapest hotel but absolutely hated this.

OK film, nothing special and I thought Isle of Dogs and The French Dispatch were better.

I really enjoyed it and felt like my eyes had had a lovely gentle treat by the end. DH not so much (he had two micro naps in the cinema which is very unlike him ).

Blimey, hated it!

Love Wes Anderson but sadly really didn't like this one. I just thought it had too many side stories, so none of the characters really developed like they deserved to. Still incredibly beautiful though.
