It's really bugging me as can't think of the title, nor can I find it anywhere by typing various things.
I watched it around 2002 (ish) when it was shown on television.
There was an old woman who was homeless and hung around in the churchyard called Rose.
The film skipped from the past to the present. A young boy met a young girl called May who had a crooked arm (that's the bit that stands out as it was quite graphic). It turned out that Rose (in the present) is May (from the past). This was discovered by someone lifting up Rose's sleeve to reveal the same crooked arm!
I can't remember the storyline, or who was in it. Just that.
I would love to find it again just to refresh my memory.
