Please can you recommend me some films that are based on real life or could be real. Have netflix and prime.

I, Daniel Blake is very good

American Sniper and Sully are both good but not sure if they're available on Prime.

Thirteen Lives about Thai cave rescue, Sully about Hudson River crash. Off the top of my head.

Flight is about the Hudson River crash too and also a good watch

The Impossible is good and currently on Prime - based on a book by a woman who (along with her family) survived the 2004 tsunami.

I don’t know if it is on Netflix but Milk is great.

I've just watched a lovely film on Netflix called October Sky. It's quite old (1999) starring a very young Jake Gyllenhaal and is based on a true story about a group of teenagers inspired by the Sputnik launch in 1957 to build a rocket. Not really a spoiler to say it helps them escape the reality of living in a dying coal mining town.
